Matt had a great afternoon with his cousins Tuesday
First, we dropped by Mag’s Yogurt in Larkspur to taste Elliott’s new Dubai Chocolate flavor
My favorite there is always the vanilla with diced almonds
But when he has pistachio, that’s my ultimate favorite with almonds added
Matt had both kinds of chocolate, regular and Dubai, and then hit the sprinkles bar for chocolate caramel cups and brownie chunks
Susan asked if I thought Matt would like to go pick peaches, she heard from friends that it was fun, maybe an hour away
I said maybe, you should ask him
When Susan asked Matt if he wanted to pick peaches, he said not really
He was up for Stinson, if he could have a beer
So they went to Stinson Beach, visited the John Davis Marsh designed house right on the beach
I got these great photos as I was helping EB move
I was so happy he and Susan were having a great adventure together
Stinson is always such a cool place to chill
EB was moving from one apartment in Lower Pacific Heights to another one in an area called NOPA
I had to look up what NOPA stood for
“North of the Panhandle”, panhandle of Golden Gate park
It took 3 trips, stuffing things in the Volvo
But we got it done and she was able to sleep in her new “crib” that night
I’m really happy that she moved, I like the new place a lot better for her
I didn’t meet her roomies, however, one must be almost as tall as her since the shoes in the shoe rack were pretty big
The new apartment is closer to her work and seems to be in a more happening spot
Its classic SF Victorian styled outside, bowling alley hallway cutting through the apartment, her room is nice yet typical city styled apartment
Just down the street are the stairs leading to Alamo Square (the Painted Ladies are nearby)
EB and I ran a bit later than planned getting her fully moved from one place to another so it was awesome Susan was so flexible
When I got over to Mill Valley to pick Matt up, Susan had dinner already sorted so we just hung out with Otter and visited while she prepped pizza and salad
Oh, and she made home made cherry ice cream for desert!
Truly a delicious treat!
When we got home, like 8:30 pm or so, Sheba was soooo happy to see us
She did several rounds of “zoomies” which is where she just runs around like a crazy dog in circles
Good day had by all, EB got moved, Matt had an adventure with Susan and we all had frozen yogurt AND ice cream
Matt loves his days with family, it means so much to him
That said, he slept pretty much all day Wednesday when Nora was here with him
He seems to need much more recovery time these days
Uncle Lewy was certainly with us all day, however, he behaved mostly, so we can call that a victory
