Ok, so I have to intersperce some humor in all this

We have a peach pick’n dog!
This is an AI generated image (thanks to Mary) of what we captured on video this week
Sheba, being a lab, is very food oriented, stating the very obvious here
Introduce a fruit laden tree and its inevitable she’d try to get to them
The problem, big problem, is the peach stone
On the one hand, the stone itself has some toxins that can be released and cause her to feel ill and, on the otherhand, the stone itself can cause intestinal blockage
So unfortunately, I had to be a party pooper and install a temporary fence underneath the canapy of the tree
She still approaches the tree, tries to figure out why she can’t get any more!
So, now, she’s set her sight on the pot in the yard that has strawberries and the grape vine by the outdoor shower
Granny (my Aunt Dolly) always said to plant enough lettuce in your garden for the bunny to have some too…..I guess that same attage applies to the family dog and a variety of crops
Since she is now safe, not likely to be taking to the emergency vet for this known reason, we can laugh and enjoy how funny it is to see a dog try to pick peaches!
