If Matt had an native American Indian name, it might be “One Sock”
Like “Soaring Eagle” or “Little Bird”, his would be One Sock
Whenever the opportunity allows, he is wearing only one sock
This morning, like many mornings, he wakes up, looking for coffee
He is wearing one sock

After we get home from hiking, its just a matter of time before he is wearing only one sock
Random times of the day, he takes off his shoes, or maybe in the moment we help him put on his shoes, he only has on one sock
I wonder, sometimes, if the fact that its always the same foot missing a sock, if that is indicative of something
Not sure what it might indicate, not sure it rises to the level of a question to ask the nuerologist
But it is quiet curious its the same foot, that same foot frees its self of a sock so often
On the flip side, I wonder, is it equally curious that the other foot retains the sock? Hmmmmm
Makes me wonder why I fixate on the sockless, versus the socked…….I call him One Sock but think primarily of the unsocked foot……does that say something about me?
I suppose I should be grateful that the one sock is still on a foot…..and not on any other body part…..
