I just never know what I miss

Seriously, seems like everything is up for grabs

Matt and I took a road trip down to Capitola to visit friends Sunday

Then we stayed the night with his sister Barb and hub Ken near by Sunday night

We did quite a bit of walking around on Sunday

Visited an art show where a friend was exhibiting, walked the esplanade of Capitola including to and from parking, bunch of other walking around

Later Sunday when we were settling into Barbs place, she helped Matt with taking his shoes off

Not only were his shoe laces a bit wonkily, that I have seen before, Barb realized he had 2 right shoes on

To understand Matt, you need to know that pretty much the only shoes he has worn for several decades are Merrell Moab hiking shoes

He has a dress shoe pair or 2, but dress up things really don’t fall on his calendar too often

So there are multiple pair of these Merrel’s around at all times, they pretty much look the same

So it’s easy to see how this could happen

So yes, he walked around pretty much all day with 2 right shoes on

It was a short over night trip, so neither of us packed much

We definitely didn’t pack a backup left shoe

So Matt hiked Monday with those 2 right shoes….didn’t seem to bother him much

Next project is to color code his shoe pairs some how

Nonetheless, 2 rights don’t make a left any day of the week…..but sometimes, I guess, you can get by
