Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA):
LBDA is a full body organization that pushes forward the conversation of disease management. For caregivers and family, they do have support groups that generally meet once per month that you can locate through their app. They also have on demand and live courses on specific topics that are common in caregiving for this disease.

Dr Natali Edmonds is a Geropsychologist that has created a huge library of free, short, videos to directly address some of the most common issues that stress caregivers out. She has a more connected model too that I am considering, but I have found amazing help in her channel.
Redwood Caregiver Resource Center:
This is the center nearest us in Sonoma CA. They operate under what I understand to be a California statewide system of eleven nonprofit Caregiver Resource Centers offering support of caregivers of adults with brain impairments.
This is pretty new, having just launched in 2024. GUIDE stands for “Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) Model. The attempt here is to solve issues where care is fragmented and to help families keep their loved ones at home longer. Important note here: if you have Medicare Advantage, you can’t take advantage of this program. The model of “cost management” is misaligned with the structure of Medicare Advantage reimbursement schemes. If your loved one has a Medicare Supplement plan, you can potentially qualify.
