(subtitle: drink more water)
There is much debate about Matt’s beer joy
He likes IPA, always has as far as I have known him
Even now, when we go to the grocery store, he initially isn’t sure which section holds his friends, but he eventually gets there
At home he enjoys the ritual of a good beer
He opens it, takes the first sip……………
Then he may forget about the one he just opened
So he will go open another
Just now, as we get ready to go to bed, I found 2 virtually full beers on the counter, opened
Some may say I enable this, his beer habit
But if your life has clearly been identified as being on the short timers list, wouldn’t you want to enjoy your vices?
After his recent hospital stay, the RN who visited yesterday, agreed that beer has electrolytes, however, its a diuretic so each beer should be followed by a glass of water
Barb’s been saying that for years BTW!
So we have another thing to work on here in that regard……if you take him out sometime and he gets a beer, help me out with this new assignment please

My vice is a good laugh……aided by some good wine sometimes……and a good co-conspirator
After Debbie & I had dinner outside with Matt alfresco under the olive tree by the pool
The floating solar pool balls were providing us with a syncronized show as we continued to talk, drink wine
Then Debbie had an idea, she thought we should paint the balls, give them character

So we asked AI to dress them up, give them personalities, professions
We may disagree on the AI platform to use
But this was absolutely hilarious thing to do!
OMG, what fun
No doubt our laughter could be heard all the way to Marin with each anticipated iteration!
I digress……
As we came in close to 10pm to settle down for the night, I was walking through the house, the kitchen
That’s when I found the 2 virtually full beer bottles on the counter
I just put a couple of silicon caps on the bottles, placed them in the refrigerator to be opened another time, later
Enabling? Maybe. Kind and loving, I certainly hope so
What would you want to hold sacred if you were doomed with a dreadful disease with no cure?
I know I’d want to laugh as much as possible, get silly, creative and be with my peeps
