Ohhhhh I am so excited the calendar is getting visits on it!

My brother is coming a few weeks

Not long after that I am going to play with my girlfriends in Flagstaff and Barb will be hanging with Matt

Not so long after that Marni and Anna fly in for a wedding and we will get to see them

It really lightens the spirits around here to have a visit to look forward to

While we do need to keep a semblance of a routine, having visits and stays is a wonderful distraction

Playtime!

Even doggie visits are counted, Sheba and Coco are having a sleepover now, playing like 2 teenage girlies

It feels normal, not burdened or sad

Through sharing as we have in this blog, these visits are meaningful

They aren’t spent explaining what we are going through, visitors come more aware, prepared

That is generally understood to a certain level, I so appreciate that

What’s really cool is each person who visits leaves with us a gem of something

It could be a word spoken, a gift of something to ease the daily, or just fun time spent

It’s never predefined, it’s organic, and never expected

A true treat of life
