I am setting up a new phone for Matt

Simplified, just basic functionality, designed for someone in his situation

He isn’t into social media, never was

He doesn’t surf the net any more, never really did much of that

All the gizmos and gadgets on his current phone are too much

So much, he can’t figure out how to do the basic stuff, like calling someone, or answering the phone

I have spent a few hours now setting things up for him

This new phone is limited to 50 contacts, that should be plenty

Each contact has a name, photo and phone number

What has been so fun is picking out photos for everyone

We have had great family and friend moments together recently

I have all those photos on my phone

So I have been picking out great shots, cropping

As I scroll down, this curated contact list, I see all your smiling, beautiful, deep hearted faces

I wish you could see how beautiful you are

It’s something really special

I simply can’t wait to unveil this to him soon!

I hope he scrolls down like I have been and sees the love, like I see

Sorry in advance if he starts calling more, butt dialing, etc.

It will be a few days till I can give it to him, still working on porting his number over

Staying in communication, community, is so very important

I hope this gives him a new lease on life….fingers crossed!
